My History of First Crocheting and Knitting

My interest in knitting started in the summer of going into middle school. I was Cracker Barrel with my grandmother and was looking at the store while wait for the food when I started to look at the crafting kits. There was this knitting kit that had yarn, bamboo knitting needles and instructions on how to knit. At start I didn't know if I wanted to get it because the only experience I had with crafts was building roller coasters out of K'nex, but my grandmother insisted that I should at least try it. I am so thankful that she did because since that day I have been knitting so much and I am still learning new things about knitting every day. I have taught a lot of people my passion for knitting and have been knitting for seven years now.

For crocheting personally, when I first tried learning how to, I had a really hard time. I don't know why it was so frustrating for me to understand but I sort of just gave up for a couple of years. It was about two years later from learning how to knit that I decided to sit down and just learn how to crochet. I watched MANY YouTube videos on how to crochet and I do not remember which one it was that just clicked for me but one did. Since, I have crocheted more products than knitted because of the variety I feel crocheting has for my types of projects. I have been crocheting for five years and personally I prefer it over knitting a lot of the times.

New posts will be coming soon. I plan to do a weekly run down of all the projects I have been working. I hoping that I remember to do, if I do new posts will be every Sunday at 12 noon starting the 7th of June. I hope you enjoyed hearing my experience of getting into something that is now a part of my life. Give me any feed back by with Direct Messaging me on my Instagram or emailing me at angeliquecouch@yahoo.com and tell me about how you got into your hobbies! I am always up for a good read. Anyways, enjoy the rest of your day and see you soon for Sunday!
